Responsibilities:

1. Installation of electronic communications equipment in the most efficient and effective manner according to project documentation. Installations must meet Arrow AV Group and AQAV quality standards while assuring a professional and safe working environment. 2. Install, integrate, and overseed the installation of electronic cabling, audio/visual components, and related systems according to project documentation and industry standards. 3. Provide guidance, training, and technical support to installers and junior team members to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to company standards. 4. Supervise the interconnection, configuration, testing, and commissioning of audio and video systems to verify proper functionality and performance. 5. Serve as the primary on-site contact to customers, general and electrical contractors, and project management, providing updates and resolving installation-related issues. 6. Monitor installation progress and identify potential challenges, implementing solutions to maintain project schedules and quality expectations. 7. Demonstrate and enforce the safe and proper operation of power tools, equipment, and company vehicles. 8. Conduct final system inspections and quality checks before project turnover to ensure customer satisfaction and system performance. 9. Assist project managers with scheduling manpower, coordinating project activities, participate in project kickoff and closeout meetings. The Lead Technician will be accountable to the Operations Manager. Secondary accountability will be to the other management team members, employees and customers of the company.

Qualifications:

The Lead Systems Technician shall possess the following minimum education and experience, or an equivalent combination thereof: Associate degree in Electronics or a related technical field and at least five (5) years of experience installing and supporting audio/visual systems. Prior experience leading installation projects, coordinating field activities, or supervising installation teams is preferred. A CTS or CTS-I certification from Avixa (InfoComm International), CQT, Dante, C-EST or C-EST Level 2 certification is preferred. Relevant certifications in low-voltage, structured cabling, audio/visual, or related technologies from ESPA, BICSI, CEDIA, or similar organizations may be substituted. Familiarity or experience with industry software such as Q360, Crestron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Dante, MS365 Office Suite, as well as DSP configuration, audio system tuning, and performance testing . The Lead Systems Technician must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively with a team of Installers, Engineers, and Sales staff. Exceptional in-person and written communication skills are needed to coordinate project details and requirements to industry professionals such as general contractors, electrical contractors, architects, and customers.

Occasional overnight travel and out-of-town assignments may be required.
