Job Overview We are seeking a Video Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot video production and audiovisual equipment. The Video Technician will support meetings for the Town of Limerick while ensuring high-quality and reliable video performance. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain professional video equipment, cameras, displays, projectors, monitors, and video systems. Operate video switchers, cameras, playback systems, recording equipment, and video processors. Troubleshoot video signal, connectivity, resolution, color, and equipment issues. Perform equipment testing, routine maintenance and system checks. Support Town meetings and video productions. Manage video feeds and ensure proper routing and distribution of signals. Connect and configure HDMI, SDI, DisplayPort, VGA, Ethernet, and other video interfaces. Assist with video recording, playback, streaming, and content delivery. Monitor video quality and resolve technical problems quickly during live productions. Follow safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines when operating equipment. Qualifications Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and customer-service skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, when required. Physical Requirements Ability to work under time-sensitive conditions during live productions. Work Environment The Video Technician will work at the Town Offices.
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 3.0 - 15.0 per week
