Responsibilities Candidate will support USMS asset tracking and inventory Candidate must have previous LMR experience. Candidate must possess a thorough understanding of LMR operations and technologies. Candidate must have experience with building codeplugs for P25 subscriber devices on both trunking and conventional infrastructures. Motorola APX preferred. Candidate must have experience with building codeplugs for P25 infrastructure devices. Motorola G-series devices preferred. Experience with Quantar and GTRs preferred. Candidate must have the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and terminate the following cables types Category 5,6,7 UTP and STP twisted pair networking cable to industry standards RG58 or similar 50 ohm coaxial cable RG6 or similar 75 ohm coaxial cable Hardline coaxial cable such as Heliax or Superflex cables Candidate must have the ability to align/tune the following RF (Radio Frequence) assets/devices using an RF (Radio Frequence) Network analyzer/service monitor P25 Subscribers (both mobile and portable) P25 Infrastructure devices RF filters/cavities Candidate must have familiarity with various fiber optic cable types, connectors, and use case for each. Candidate must possess the ability configure and troubleshoot at a basic level various Internet of Things (IoT) devices to facilitate basic communication capabilities on the network. Candidate must possess the ability to coordinate with local and federal agencies in the development of communications plans for the purpose of interoperability. Candidate must possess the ability to troubleshoot both P25 subscribers and infrastructure devices. Troubleshooting would include Checking for proper antenna type(s) Ability to perform antenna line health checks via various means. Ability to understand and troubleshoot vehicle radio installs. Candidate must have the ability to coordinate with their immediate manager and the
