Description :
Maintains streaming infrastructure working on location with complex professional equipment. Responsible for troubleshooting, ensuring signal quality as well as consulting with production staff as needed. Pursuant to the State of Texas Executive Order No. GA-48, this position researches, works on, or has access to critical infrastructure and requires the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the University infrastructure. This position requires personnel be routinely reviewed to determine whether or not criminal history or continuous connections for the government or political apparatus of a foreign adversary might prevent the employee from being able to maintain the security or integrity of the infrastructure. 1. Administers and maintains streaming and video capture services. 2. Supports faculty and other clients with video and multimedia in classrooms and event spaces. 3. Produces, live streams and records symposiums and University events. 4. Operates video and multimedia equipment, Roland video switchers, matrix and routing switchers, image capture and annotation presentation technology, live streaming, video and audio recording systems as well as a range of portable media equipment. 5. Responsible for live streaming and recording on a number of platforms throughout campus depending upon the infrastructure available in the location. 6. Streams video to various content providers individually and simultaneously as required by clients. 7. Performs other job-related duties as required. Department is willing to accept education in lieu of experience.

Education:
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Experience:
Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.
Additional Posting Information:
- Candidate should have experience with video streaming, Adobe Premier and Photoshop. - Experience with Adobe After Effects is a plus but not required.
