JOB OVERVIEW

As a Flight Crew Member for the Colorado Eagles, your primary responsibility is maintaining the ice while also energizing the crowd and enhancing the game-day experience. You'll work closely with the team's entertainment staff to create an engaging atmosphere during home games and special events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Performance:

Skating with a shovel to maintain the ice during the periods of play at all Eagles home games

Practice Attendance:

Participate in team skates prior to Saturday games to ensure proper endurance and skating ability

Crowd Engagement:

Interact with fans during games to boost energy levels and create a vibrant atmosphere in the arena.

Collaboration:

Work with the Eagles entertainment team to coordinate patterns for maintaining the ice and contribute to the overall game atmosphere

Qualifications :

Previous experience skating (playing hockey, figure skating, etc) Proficient in all forms of skating, including speed, finesse, stopping, turning, etc. Energetic and charismatic personality with excellent crowd interaction skills. Team-oriented with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Availability for evening and weekend events during the hockey season.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to be on feet for hours at a time. Ability to be in skates for hours at a time Ability to lift 25lbs (shovels, flags, buckets, snow) Good physical stamina to skate for extended periods.
