Job Description
Bakers Ranch is expanding! Join our award winning venue and team! We are looking for an additional team member to continue providing exceptional service for all of our clients! This position is salaried (no commission). If you are interested in a base plus commission then check out our other Wedding Coordinator role.
- Day-to-day communications with vendors and customers via email and phone
- Perform all responsibilities of Wedding Assistants and be able to work outside in different elements
- Maintain and update customer files
- Create and Adhere to the wedding day timeline, and execute any changes
- Social media and blog post management experience a plus
- Conducting design sessions with customers (creating the overall detailed look of the wedding - linens, center pieces, etc.)
- Conduct Rehearsal and/or Final Walk-Through
- Always ensure the venue and grounds are clean and safe
- Breakdown and clean up after the event. Account for all equipment and supplies. Return or arrange for the return of materials provided by the client.
- Always maintain a professional demeanor, be on time, and be respectful to all clients and their guests
- Manage and lead bar, catering, florist, baker, DJ, and other vendors
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and characteristics:- Energetic and highly personable
- Professional in appearance and demeanor
- Detail-oriented, Punctual, Creative, Decisive yet flexible, follow directions
- Highly organized with a Strong ability to multitask
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and think clearly throughout periods of stress
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 12 hours) and ability to climb ladders and lift at least 30 pounds
- Ability to manage a wide range of tasks and a willingness to easily transition between responsibilities as required at the office and at the event
- Must have experience in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Google products, etc
- Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the day and evenings with flexible availability during the week
