Overview Join our innovative team as a Drone Discovery Club Instructor and ignite curiosity and passion for aerial technology among young learners! In this dynamic paid role, you will lead engaging drone exploration activities, foster a safe learning environment, and inspire the next generation of tech enthusiasts. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help participants develop foundational drone skills while encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine education, technology, and fun in a vibrant setting. Duties Plan and deliver interactive drone discovery sessions tailored to various age groups and skill levels Demonstrate safe drone operation techniques and ensure adherence to safety protocols during all activities Guide participants through hands-on flying exercises, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance tasks Foster an inclusive environment that encourages questions, exploration, and collaborative learning Monitor equipment usage and perform routine checks to maintain optimal drone performance and safety standards Develop educational materials and activity plans that align with curriculum goals and promote STEM learning Maintain detailed records of participant progress, safety incidents, and equipment inventory Qualifications Prior experience working with university students or in educational settings is highly desirable Strong knowledge of drone technology, flight principles, and safety procedures Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences in a lively, motivating manner Ability to demonstrate patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm in a hands-on learning environment Basic technical skills for troubleshooting drone hardware and software issues Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere that inspires curiosity Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and promote responsible drone usage at all times
