Sky Elements Drone Shows is on the lookout for skilled Drone Light Show Pilots to animate our breathtaking aerial displays. As a pilot, you'll be at the helm of each show, ensuring seamless operations in accordance with FAA regulations and our internal guidelines. This role involves substantial interaction with clients, local FAA officials, and crew members, making professionalism a key requirement. This position requires commuting distance to a major airport. You may also be required to pilot a drone show in various parts of the country to the candidate must be open to extensive travel. Being near one or more major airports or hubs where we have many local shows each year is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients at show sites Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during operations Pilot/co-pilot drones to execute intricate light shows Maintain constant communication with local FAA officials (as needed) and internal teams to ensure compliance and safety.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in drone operations or similar fields. Familiarity with FAA regulations and aeronautical standards (Part 107 license required). Ability to travel extensively and work in diverse environments. Experience in client-facing roles with demonstrated professionalism.

Skills and Competencies:

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving under tight deadlines. Eagerness to engage in continuous learning and innovation within the drone technology space.

Work Environment:

Work is typically performed in pairs - Pilots and Co-Pilots share the responsibilities for the day and are expected to work as a team to perform their duties and ensure a safe flight Direct collaborations with high-profile clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional performance at prominent events.
