Booker - International Multimedia Journalist II United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM) Doral, FL Job Details 17 hours ago Qualifications Research Full Job Description International Multimedia Journalist - II Primary responsibilities:  Assist with identifying and researching potential guests, sources, and subject matter experts for news stories, interviews, and feature segments.  Conduct outreach to prospective guests and coordinate scheduling based on production needs and availability.  Maintain guest contact lists, databases, calendars, and booking records to support production activities.  Gather and compile background information, biographies, and supporting materials for producers, hosts, and reporters.  Coordinate guest logistics, including appearance details, technical requirements, and pre-interview communications.  Monitor news developments and industry trends to help identify potential guests relevant to upcoming coverage.  Confirm guest participation and ensure all necessary information is communicated accurately and in a timely manner.  Support producers and editorial staff by tracking booking requests, deadlines, and scheduling changes.  Assist with preparing booking memos, guest profiles, and briefing materials for production teams.  Provide administrative support for booking activities, including maintaining records, updating contact information, and organizing documentation.  Contributes to teamwork, facilitating tasks of teammates, as needed  Meets VOA standards for productivity, quality, and meeting deadlines  Makes suggestions about policy and workflow improvements  Preferred fluency in target language (written, spoken) and deep knowledge of the target area, plus the ability to adapt stories into English as assigned, within the time assigned Tasks are varied, and require advanced and specialized skills.  Expected to track and perform multiple tasks concurrently  Expected to resolve simple problems independently About the Agency The United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM) is an exciting, multi-media, multi-cultural, global media agency that carries out all United States civilian international broadcasting.
