Based on Experience Black Clover is looking for an experienced Apparel & Headwear Designer to help shape the next evolution of our product. We're looking for someone with great taste, strong technical design skills, and a genuine understanding of what makes people want to wear a product. You'll have meaningful ownership of our apparel and headwear collections, working from initial concept through final production while helping guide and develop a junior designer. This is an opportunity for a designer who has built a strong foundation and is ready for more—a bigger voice, more ownership, and the chance to make a visible impact on a growing brand.WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design apparel and headwear from initial concept through production Help establish the creative direction for seasonal collections, including color, fabrication, silhouette, graphics, trims, and detailing Create cohesive collections that feel fresh, relevant, and distinctly Black Clover Research trends and the competitive landscape while bringing original ideas and a strong point of view to the table Create sketches, colorways, graphics, patterns, and technical specifications Build and maintain detailed tech packs and communicate effectively with factories and development partners Review samples, fits, fabrics, trims, colors, and construction throughout the development process Partner closely with sourcing, merchandising, sales, and marketing to bring product to market Help maintain consistency across apparel, headwear, and the broader Black Clover brand Provide day-to-day direction, feedback, and mentorship to a junior designer Continually look for ways to make the product better—from the big idea down to the smallest detailWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
3-6+ years of apparel, headwear, or related product design experience A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, versatility, and commercially relevant product Experience in golf, active, performance, outdoor, or premium lifestyle apparel is strongly preferred Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Experience creating tech packs and taking product from concept through production Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, color, fit, and manufacturing Ability to balance creativity with commercial considerations Strong communication, organization, and project-management skills Someone comfortable giving direction and feedback and excited about developing another designer A strong eye for what feels current without simply chasing trendsWHO YOU ARE
