Job Description
Overview Sayles Livingston Design is seeking an experienced full-time, seasonal Wedding and Event Floral Designer to join our team for the 2026 event season. In this dynamic role, you will assemble and design floral arrangements, helping to transform visions into breathtaking realities. We are looking for energetic, team-players who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have experience working in the luxury wedding market. We are not looking to train individuals for this role currently. In order to be considered for this position, you must have prior work experience in event floral design. Responsibilities Design and assemble floral arrangements, either from recipes or samples, working alongside our veteran designers. Load and unload vehicles and trucks on wedding set up days, working both at the studio and on site at venues. Set up floral installations at event venues, including tabletops, ceremony sites, arches, and other decorative elements. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to protocols and proper handling of flowers and tools, potentially processing flowers if needed. Assist with handling of hard good elements, including candles, pedestals, and styling props. Work cohesively amongst a team of designers, floral assistants, and freelancers. Skills Proven experience in floral design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical skill Knowledge of floral care, processing, and handling of multiple types of flowers. Excellent communication skills and success as a team member Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines Ability to lift over 50 lbs Ability to drive a sprinter van This role is a full-time and seasonal, from August-November. Pay is based on experience.
