Full Job Description SUMMARY:

We are looking for a detail oriented, enthusiastic, and reliable Floral Designer to join our team at Halls Flower Shop! This position will work in a fast-paced, team environment creating both fresh and silk floral designs of all types, based on customers' preferences. This role will also assist in wedding and event floral design, including proms and corporate events.

JOB DUTIES

Create arrangements based on customers' budgets and needs, including fresh and silk arrangements Create both everyday and funeral arrangements Create original designs that highlight the company's style and abilities Assist with ordering flowers and supplies from wholesalers and local growers Assist with wedding and event floral design, as well as set-up and teardown Take customer orders and process them through the sales system, including cash and credit card payments Help the team process weekly flower orders Maintain shop and workstation cleanliness Assist with store front displays and restocking inventory Assist with floral deliveries when needed Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma required Valid driver's license required 1-3 years' related experience required Customer service and retail experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment Efficiently manages time and work priorities while maintaining a high level of detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work 40 hours per week, including some weekend and holiday hours Ability to lift a minimum of 45 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
