Part-Time Floral Designer / Backup Delivery Driver Broadway Flower Shop - Lenoir City, TN Broadway Flower Shop is seeking a creative, dependable, and experienced Part-Time Floral Designer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with fresh flowers, has a strong eye for design, and can work efficiently in a busy retail flower shop environment. This role will also serve as a backup delivery driver as needed , so flexibility and a willingness to help with local deliveries is important.

Schedule:

Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays Additional hours may be available during holidays, weddings, and other busy seasons. Responsibilities Design fresh floral arrangements for everyday orders, birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy, weddings, and other occasions Create vase arrangements, baskets, sympathy pieces, plants, and custom floral designs Follow customer requests, inspiration photos, and shop design standards Process, condition, and care for fresh flowers and greenery Maintain flower coolers, design areas, and workspaces Help monitor floral inventory and supplies Assist with cleaning, organizing, and general flower shop duties Help customers in person and by phone when needed Prepare orders for pickup and delivery Serve as a backup delivery driver for local floral deliveries as needed Carefully load, transport, and deliver floral arrangements while ensuring they arrive in excellent condition Assist with holiday production and other high-volume periods Work as part of a team and help wherever needed to keep daily operations running smoothly Qualifications Previous floral design experience preferred Strong understanding of color, balance, proportion, and floral design Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality and attention to detail Dependable and punctual Friendly and professional with customers and coworkers Able to take direction while also working independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and a safe driving record Comfortable making local deliveries when needed Ability to stand for extended periods and lift flower buckets, boxes, floral arrangements, and other shop supplies What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys floral design and takes pride in their work.
