The ideal candidate MUST be located in the Greater Nashville Region. The position offers flexibility to work remotely from home, but must be able for in-person meetings at our Downtown Nashville office and client locations as needed. The right candidate will be hired based on their talent and portfolio - not their years of experience. As a senior graphic designer, you will design and develop visually stunning and user-centric websites, create captivating social media content and craft innovative advertising campaigns. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator), Figma and Wordpress will be essential to excel in this role.
Responsibilities:
Conceptualization, design, and execution of visually appealing websites that align with client goals and brand guidelines. Develop user-centric website experiences in Figma and Webflow by employing UX principles, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, and prototyping. Present design concepts and strategies to clients, effectively communicating the rationale behind design decisions and addressing feedback. Create engaging static images and animations for social media platforms, ensuring they align with the brand's visual identity and objectives. Prepare advertising campaigns, including ad visuals, banners, and promotional materials, that effectively communicate the brand's message and engage the target audience. Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, to design and produce high-quality assets for various marketing and promotional purposes. Develop compelling logo designs and brand identity systems that effectively communicate the brand's values, differentiate it from competitors and resonate with the target audience. Collaborate with teammates to develop creative concepts and campaigns that drive brand awareness and customer engagement. Ensure all design deliverables meet project timelines, quality standards, and budget requirements.
Requirements:
Demonstrated portfolio showcasing exceptional website design projects that highlight your ability to create visually engaging and user-friendly experiences. Proficiency in UX design principles, methodologies, and best practices, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, and prototyping. Extensive experience working with design tools such as Figma, Webflow, and WordPress, and a deep understanding of their capabilities and limitations. Strong visual design skills, including layout composition, typography, color theory, and iconography. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and strategies to both internal teams and clients. Fluency with AI-powered creative tools and a demonstrated ability to incorporate AI into your creative workflow. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel in-state and out-of-state Ability to comfortably and professionally interact with elected officials and local governments
Compensation:
