Job Description

Position Summary:
The Graphic Designer supports the Sales & Marketing team by producing on-brand creative for digital, print, social media, advertising, in-park signage, special events, and sales initiatives. This position translates campaign direction and marketing objectives into finished design work that supports attendance, revenue-generating programs, and the overall Epic Waters guest experience. The Graphic Designer maintains brand standards across all creative materials, prepares print-ready files, coordinates specifications with outside printers and vendors, and organizes marketing design assets. The position is also responsible for identifying opportunities to improve creative consistency, production efficiency, and the overall effectiveness of marketing materials.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Standards & Creative Development Design marketing materials for digital and print channels, including social media graphics, email graphics, digital advertisements, flyers, posters, brochures, menus, signage, banners, and promotional materials. Maintain consistency with Epic Waters brand standards, including logo usage, typography, color, imagery, and overall visual identity, across all creative materials. Work from established brand assets while developing fresh concepts and creative approaches that support campaign objectives. Ensure all creative is accurate and proofread, and that required approvals are obtained prior to publication, printing, or installation. Develop and maintain reusable templates that improve consistency and reduce turnaround time on recurring marketing projects. Campaign, Promotional & Sales Support Create campaign creative for seasonal promotions, special events, annual passes, group sales, birthday parties, vacation packages, and other revenue-generating initiatives. Design creative that communicates a clear offer, message, and call to action in support of established marketing and revenue goals. Assist the Sales team with presentations, sales sheets, flyers, group sales materials, and other collateral. Support Operations, Food & Beverage, Guest Services, and other departments with menus, guest-facing communications, and internal signage as assigned. Complete revisions promptly and accurately based on feedback from the Sales & Marketing team and other departments. Digital, Social & Web Creative Develop graphics and templates for social media, email marketing, website content, and paid advertising campaigns. Create and resize artwork for multiple formats, including social media, web, digital displays, print, and large-format signage. Maintain a working knowledge of platform specifications and creative best practices for digital and social channels. Assist with photography, basic photo editing, and content capture during events and daily operations as needed. In-Park Signage & Guest Communication Support the development of in-park signage, promotional displays, directional signage, and guest-facing communications. Ensure signage is legible, accurate, and consistent with brand, operational, and safety-messaging standards. Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance regarding sign placement, installation needs, and removal of outdated materials. Routinely review in-park signage and printed materials to identify damaged, outdated, or inaccurate items and communicate replacement needs to the appropriate leadership. Production, File Management & Vendor Coordination Prepare print-ready files and coordinate specifications, proofs, quantities, and deadlines with outside printers and vendors. Organize and maintain marketing design files, templates, logos, photography, and other creative assets in accordance with established file management practices. Track project requests, deadlines, and approvals to ensure work is delivered on time and in the correct format. Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce unnecessary printing, reprints, and material waste. Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Support special events, park promotions, and marketing initiatives as assigned. Perform other duties, special projects, and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental objectives and the overall success of EPIC Waters. Safety & Emergency Awareness Maintain a thorough understanding of all emergency action plans, safety procedures, and operational standards, particularly those related to guest safety and emergency response. Immediately report all incidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, and safety concerns to the appropriate Supervisor, Director, or Manager on Duty (MOD). Follow company policies, safety procedures, and established operating procedures while working in office, back-of-house, and active park areas. Ensure work performed in guest areas, including signage installation, displays, and photography, does not create obstructions, trip hazards, or interference with park operations. Ensure required safety training is completed and maintained. Maintain awareness of surroundings and proactively identify and communicate conditions that may create a safety or guest-service concern.
POSITION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Previous graphic design experience with a portfolio demonstrating relevant design work across both digital and print applications. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience with Canva and building reusable templates preferred. Strong understanding of typography, layout, branding, color, and visual hierarchy. Working knowledge of print production, file preparation, and vendor specifications, including large-format and signage applications. Ability to take creative direction while also developing original concepts that support marketing and revenue objectives. Strong attention to detail, organization, and file management, including accurate proofreading of dates, pricing, and promotional details. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Photography, video, motion graphics, or basic video editing experience is a plus. Experience in hospitality, attractions, entertainment, tourism, events, or consumer marketing is preferred but not required. Must be able to complete all applicable training and demonstrate competency in the software, systems, and procedures associated with the position. Demonstrates a positive, can-do mentality and willingness to step in, assist others, and respond promptly to operational task requests. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with guests, team members, and other departments.

Ability to bend, kneel, reach, climb stairs, push, and pull. Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds as necessary. Must be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to water, humidity, varying temperatures, and active operational settings
