Full Job Description Product Designer San Francisco Area Early-Stage Nonprofit Salary:
$100,000 to $150,000, with flexibility based on experience. Terrific Product Designer role with an early-stage San Francisco-based nonprofit. The organization's mission is to address global crises affecting billions of people. They will achieve this by developing an online global community of members that commit 15 minutes per week to complete what they call Actions that have a positive impact on these crises. As the organization's Product Designer, you would shape the product design and user experience across web, iOS, and Android applications. The role will design intuitive community features and ensure a cohesive design that will support the platform as it scales. They are open to a wide variety of backgrounds, including recent graduates or more tenured professionals. The base salary range is $100,000 to $150,000, with flexibility based on experience. What you'll do: Create an intuitive and polished design that drives a superior user experience Design the product across web, iOS, and Android applications Develop workflows that make it simple for users to complete Actions and engage across the platform Create social and community features that encourage discussion and accountability for users Ensure cohesive visuals and design across platforms and applications Have significant ownership of overall product design for a product preparing for public launch They're looking for someone who possesses at least some of the following characteristics: Has a background in STEM Experience designing consumer products across applications Full stack and product design experience (UI and UX) Track record of creating intuitive interfaces for users Experience with modern design tools Familiarity with design systems and best practices Graphic design work used to enhance the user experience Equal opportunity employer.
