Education Bachelor's Degree Category Interior Design Job Description Essential Functions:
Participates in the conceptual design and provides full support throughout the entire project. Liaises with Project Manager, Architects and consultants. Develops and represents lead technical viewpoint on projects. Coordinates with the director and department head on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies. Project size differentiates this position from the senior level.
Job Requirements Education/Experience:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in the field of Interior Design or Interior Architecture with 8+ years of relevant interiors project experience required. A creative design portfolio is required.
Certifications/Licenses/Registrations:
NCIDQ certification or architectural registration preferred. P ossession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license and willingness to use insured personal vehicle in the course of employment.
Qualifications/Skills:
The candidate will have excellent verbal and written communications skills, attention to detail, teamwork, presentation and organizational skills . Proficiency with Revit and other computer design programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, Sketchup and 3D rendering is desired. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be detail oriented and able to perform each essential duty effectively. Leadership, mentoring and excellent communication skills. Ability to demonstrate effective conflict resolution skills, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to confidently and decisively take action. Exceptional coaching and consulting skills, with demonstrated self-confidence and an ability to adapt content and conversations to meet the needs of the audience.
