Job Overview We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Flooring & Kitchen Cabinet Showroom Sales/Designers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our showroom, guiding clients through the exciting process of selecting flooring, cabinetry, lighting, and remodeling solutions that transform their spaces. Your expertise in design, sales, and customer service will help clients realize their vision while ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. Duties Engage with customers in the showroom to understand their renovation needs and provide expert product recommendations for flooring, kitchen cabinets, lighting, and fixtures Use layout design tools such as SketchUp or CAD software to create customized room plans that meet client specifications and aesthetic goals Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to help clients make informed purchasing decisions Build strong customer relationships through attentive service, effective communication, and follow-up to ensure satisfaction and repeat business Assist clients with inside sales processes including upselling premium products and closing sales deals efficiently Manage showroom inventory, stock displays attractively, and coordinate product demos to showcase latest offerings Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and project managers to facilitate seamless remodeling projects from initial consultation to installation Skills Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales within the renovation or construction industry Proficiency in SketchUp, CAD, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, POS systems, and lighting design software Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell high-end products effectively while maintaining customer trust Knowledge of remodeling processes, construction materials, fixture sales, and maintenance requirements Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele Ability to interpret technical drawings and create functional layout designs for kitchens and flooring projects Customer relationship building skills with a focus on deal closing and account management Organizational skills to manage multiple client projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for measurements, pricing calculations, retail math applications, and budgeting purposes Familiarity with lighting sales and interior design principles to enhance client consultations Experience with remodeling fixtures sales, construction sales processes, and technical proficiency in construction-related tools Join us as a Flooring & Kitchen Cabinet Showroom Sales/Designer if you're passionate about transforming spaces through innovative design solutions!
