It is preferred that candidates possess documentation to show proficiency in languages other than English. If documentation is not available, candidates might be asked to complete a proficiency test. Candidates MUST have at least 1 year of professional interpreting experience on their resume. Language proficiency alone is NOT sufficient. Volunteer interpreting for a school or church or interpreting for family/friends is NOT sufficient. Must be willing to get a background check including Federal, State, and Child Abuse Registry Must have reliable phone service for contact. Must be comfortable with using computer for job input.
