Key Qualifications:

Valid Georgia Department of Education (GA DOE) Sign Language Interpreter license (must meet licensing requirements—HR waiver not available) Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Strong interpersonal communication skills Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and student advocacy Ability to work collaboratively as both a dedicated 1:1 interpreter and in a floating capacity as needs arise

Position Details:

Onsite, school-based assignment providing 1:1 interpreting services Split schedule: Part-time at Alliance Academy, remaining hours supporting students across other locations as needed Full-time hours available within a flexible, contract structure Immediate start date, with assignment running through May 27, 2027 Engage with students, teachers, and staff to facilitate effective communication and ensure equitable learning experiences
