Step into a vital role supporting student success as a contract Sign Language Interpreter in a high school environment. This full-time, on-site opportunity lets you make a direct impact on a students educational journey by providing consistent interpreting services throughout the school week. In this position, you will: Facilitate communication between a high school student who is deaf or hard of hearing and their teachers, peers, and school staff Accurately interpret classroom instruction, assignments, and all school-related conversations Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure the students full access to educational content and activities Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in accordance with school and state guidelines Adapt interpreting style as needed for different instructional contexts and individual student needs

Qualifications:

Active Georgia Educational Interpreter/GaPSC Certification RID Certification or EIPA score of 3.5 or above Experience in a school setting, especially working one-on-one with students, is preferred Ability to maintain a regular MondayFriday, 37.5-hour work schedule through May 2027 Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Enjoy the stability of a long-term contract and the satisfaction of making a difference every day.
