Desired Qualifications:

Hold an active Georgia Educational Interpreter/GaPSC Certification. Possess either RID Certification or an EIPA score of 3.5 or above. Preferably have previous experience interpreting in school-based settings. Demonstrate full-time availability for the duration of the assignment. Display reliability, professionalism, and skill in supporting individual student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret classroom lessons and all school-related interactions for a high school student during school hours. Facilitate effective communication between the student, educators, and peers. Collaborate with school staff to implement appropriate accommodations and support strategies. Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and accurate records for services delivered. Adapt interpreting techniques and tools to meet the dynamic needs of a high school environment. This assignment runs through the end of the academic year in late May 2027, Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours each week.
