This full-time contract role runs through the end of May 2027 and is dedicated to providing consistent interpreting services for one student, ensuring clear communication and equitable participation in all aspects of their school day.

What were looking for:

Active Georgia Educational Interpreter/GaPSC certification RID Certification or an EIPA score of 3.5 or higher Previous experience providing sign language interpreting services in a school or educational setting (preferred) Availability for full-time, on-site hoursMonday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week Professionalism, adaptability, and commitment to supporting student success Reliable transportation and strong punctuality for consistent school-based presence Core responsibilities: Deliver one-on-one sign language interpretation for a high school student in classroom and school activities Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, peers, and school staff Support the students understanding of instructional material and social interactions Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical interpreting practices Collaborate with educational teams to ensure appropriate accommodations and ongoing needs are met Working in this role offers the rewarding opportunity to help a student thrive academically and socially while advancing your interpreting expertise in a supportive, school-centered environment.
