Key qualifications:

Hold an active Georgia Educator Certification for Sign Language Interpreters and an EIPA score of 3.5 or higher Alternatively, be a Sign Language Interpreter Para with strong EIPA scores who plans to retake the exam; the district is open to onboarding as a SLI tech with the ability to transition to a full interpreter role mid-year Demonstrate comfort with maintaining daily service documentation and logs Possess strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Committed to supporting a diverse student population and facilitating inclusive access Core responsibilities: Provide sign language interpretation services onsite to students and staff Facilitate clear and accurate communication in both academic and extracurricular settings Complete required daily logs to document interpreting services rendered Adjust service delivery style to suit the assigned caseload after collaboration with district staff Engage in pre- and post-planning activities as needed This role offers the chance to make a lasting impact by creating accessible, meaningful learning experiences.
