Qualifications & Desired Experience:

EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (required) Full-time availability throughout the school year Prior experience in school-based and educational sign language interpreting (preferred) Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and fostering inclusive learning Must possess or be able to obtain all required credentials/licensure prior to assignment Strong interpersonal skills for facilitating peer and staff interactions Consistent, reliable transportation to the school site

Responsibilities:

Provide real-time interpretation for students during lessons, small groups, and school activities Facilitate communication between students who use sign language and their teachers, staff, and classmates Support students' full access to curriculum and extracurricular programs Collaborate with educational teams and participate in conferences as needed Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
