Key Qualifications:

Active Georgia Educational Interpreter or GaPSC Certification required RID Certification or an EIPA score of 3.5 or above Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred Ability to commit to full-time hours (37.5 per week, MondayFriday) Strong communication, professional conduct, and adaptability in a school environment

Responsibilities:

Provide on-site interpretation between spoken English and American Sign Language for one high school student Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure appropriate accommodations Support the students participation in classroom instruction, school activities, and peer interactions Maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries Adapt interpreting styles as needed for various instructional and social settings
