Two openings are available, each offering the chance to make a meaningful difference while collaborating with dedicated educational teams. Position 1:

Proven expertise in American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting within a school setting Relevant credential required: EIPA score of 3.5+ with ISBE approval, orEIPA 3.0-3.4
with interim ISBE approval BEI, ISAS, CI/CT, or NIC credentials accepted with ISBE approval Ability to foster clear communication between students who are deaf or hard of hearing, their peers, and educational staff Exceptional professionalism, flexibility, and collaborative skillsPrimary Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one or group interpretation for students throughout the school day Support classroom learning and engagement by accurately conveying spoken and signed communication Work alongside educators to address student needs and participate in IEP meetings as required Maintain confidentiality and comply with all school district and state guidelines Serve as a positive advocate for deaf and hard of hearing students These positions are fully onsite.
