First Position:

Vernon Hills Second Position:

MondayFriday, 8:00am12:00pm Assignment through May 20, 2027 Situated at a high school setting in

Grayslake Qualifications & Credentials:

Proficiency in educational sign language interpreting, with experience supporting K-12 students Required certification: EIPA score of 3.5+ with ISBE Approval, or

EIPA 3.03.4

with ISBE Interim Approval Other accepted credentials: BEI, ISAS, CI/CT, or NIC (all require ISBE Approval) Ability to work on-site and collaborate closely with students, staff, and families Adaptable, empathetic, and professional communication skills

Responsibilities:

Provide sign language interpreting services for students and staff during instructional and school-related activities Facilitate equitable access to classroom content and communications Support a positive, inclusive learning environment Collaborate with educational teams and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed Ensure confidentiality and maintain professional standards Both roles offer the chance to build meaningful student connections and make a lasting impact in school communities.
