Key Qualifications:

Hold a valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 Endorsement, as required by the state. Previous experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in a school or educational setting is preferred. Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and the ability to facilitate seamless communication. Ability to work onsite, flexibly adapting to grade levels and school sites as assigned. Passion for supporting diverse learners and collaborating with educational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver sign language interpretation services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing, ensuring equal access to classroom instruction, activities, and discussions. Serve students across grade levels within the assigned satellite program and/or partner schools (specific sites to be determined). Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and staff to address student needs and enhance educational outcomes. Maintain ethical standards of confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Support student engagement in both academic and social settings.
