This contract-based opportunity offers a full-time schedule, working 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, following the academic calendar. Qualifications:

Proficiency as a Sign Language Interpreter, comfortable working in educational settings. Valid EIPA score of 4.0, including the written component, and current status on the Louisiana Interpreter Registry (LCDC Interpreter Registry - Dept. of Health). Alternatively, holding RID or NIC certification (written portion included) also meets requirements, but must be registered per Louisiana guidelines. Experience supporting high school-aged students preferred. Ability to meet districts fingerprinting and drug screening requirements promptly. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a focus on student advocacy.
