Desired Experience and Skills:

Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Previous experience as a paraprofessional or sign language interpreter in a school setting is preferred but not required Ability to communicate clearly and maintain professionalism in a school environment Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to supporting student success

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality ASL interpreting for a designated high school student during the academic day (Monday to Friday, 7:45 am 2:45 pm) Ensure accurate, confidential interpretation between students, staff, and teachers as required Foster an inclusive atmosphere where the student feels supported and engaged Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure student needs are met No certifications are required at this time, making this a great opportunity for skilled interpreters looking to gain more experience in an educational setting.
