Job Summary We are seeking dynamic and skilled On-Site Professional Interpreters to join our team and facilitate clear, accurate communication across diverse settings. In this vital role, you will provide interpretation services directly at client locations, ensuring effective dialogue between speakers of different languages. Your expertise will help bridge language gaps in various environments. We need 1 Spanish, 1 Burmese and 2 Vietnamese Interpreters for this assignment. Responsibilities Deliver accurate interpretation services on-site Utilize interpretation techniques such as simultaneous interpretation (conveying messages in real-time) and consecutive interpretation (pausing for speaker clarification). Uphold professional ethics by maintaining confidentiality, impartiality, and cultural sensitivity during all interactions. Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure seamless communication and address any linguistic or cultural challenges promptly. Maintain detailed records of assignments, including session notes and client feedback, to ensure quality standards are met. Experience Proven experience as a professional interpreter in various settings such as healthcare, legal, educational or community environments. Multilingual proficiency with fluency in English and at least one other language; additional language skills are highly desirable. Demonstrated expertise in interpretation techniques including simultaneous interpretation and consecutive interpretation. Strong understanding of cultural competency principles to navigate diverse cultural contexts effectively. Knowledge of translation practices and linguistic principles to support accurate communication. Familiarity with the ethical standards of interpretation professions and commitment to maintaining professionalism at all times.
