Job Description

Category Schools - Sign Language Interpreter - Telehealth Job Type Contract This contract role offers the opportunity to provide full-time sign language interpretation services for a 4th-grade student via telehealth in an educational setting. The position is based in Rexburg, ID, and requires immediate availability through June 3rd.
Responsibilities:
Deliver clear and accurate sign language interpretation services for a 4th-grade student during telehealth sessions. Facilitate effective communication between the student, educators, and support staff, ensuring accessibility and engagement. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards in all interactions. Collaborate remotely with educational personnel to support the student's learning needs. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies during sessions.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with experience interpreting for children in educational settings. Previous experience providing telehealth sign language interpreting services preferred. Strong understanding of educational terminology and 4th grade curriculum concepts. Ability to work full-time and commit immediately through June 3rd. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
