The assignment runs from now through May 27, 2027, with a consistent Friday schedule for 6.5 hours each week, providing work-life balance.

Qualifications & Experience:

Current, active licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter (required) Experience working in educational settings, preferably with high school students Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Ability to facilitate communication between students, teachers, and peers Understanding of academic and social needs for students with hearing loss Professional, reliable, and collaborative work style

Key Responsibilities:

Provide sign language interpretation in various classroom settings and school events Facilitate communication related to academics, extracurriculars (like drama productions), and peer interactions Support the students use of Cochlear Implant and other assistive listening devices (ALD) Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure access to curriculum and activities Encourage the students participation and integration within the school community This onsite contract offers a focused work scheduleFridays onlyideal for interpreters seeking supplemental work or a flexible arrangement.
