Qualifications and Desired Experience Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Familiarity with MTSS, RTI, and special education assessment protocols Strong consultation, crisis intervention, and counseling skills Effective communication with students, staff, and families Prior experience in a school setting preferred Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations Develop, monitor, and revise IEPs and support plans Collaborate with teachers and administrators on intervention strategies Provide counseling and behavioral support to students individually and in groups Consult with families to address student needs and ensure ongoing progress Deliver professional development and guidance to school staff Maintain organized, timely documentation and reporting This contract position is an excellent way to broaden your professional experience, build connections, and make a lasting difference for students in the Sugar Land area.
