We partner with local public schools to offer the perfect balance of a smaller practice within a rewarding school schedule. Pay up to $60/hour W2 and 1099 options No non competes in our contracts
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree or completion of an Interpreter Training Program (ITP) accepted based on experience and credentials. Current RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) certification or a valid Virginia Quality Assurance Screening (VQAS) credential required. W2

Provide accurate and effective interpretation between spoken language (English or other spoken language) and American Sign Language (ASL) Interpret classroom instruction, lectures, discussions, and other school-related activities to ensure that deaf or hard-of-hearing students receive the information presented Work one-on-one with students as needed to provide additional support and clarification Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to support the overall educational development of students Join a team that is run by therapists for therapists!
