Lead Lighting Designer/Technician (Live entertainment operations) XJ Entertainment Tuscaloosa, AL Job Details Part-time $20 - $60 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Live event projects Safe work practices Workplace safety Lighting design Full Job Description XJ Entertainment is seeking passionate and reliable Lighting Designers and Technicians to join our growing event production team. we are looking for experienced lighting designers with knowledge of lighting software, (entec, showexpress chamsys, etc) to join our team and run and design shows.

What You'll Do:

Set up, operate, and break down lighting equipment for events Work with the team to design and execute lighting designs that match the clients vision Assist with equipment load-in/load-out and transport (must be able to lift 50+ lbs) Program lights using basic or advanced DMX software Troubleshoot and maintain gear on-site Follow safety guidelines and respect timelines during event production

What We're Looking For:

Someone with previous experience/ skills with live entertainment lighting/visual operations knowledge of Chauvet ShowXpress, Light key, chamsys consoles or any other software/lighting board. Interest in live events, concerts, or entertainment production Willingness to lead and manage teams in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude, punctuality, and professionalism are a must Must be available on nights and weekends as needed
