Commercial / Residential Wiring Technician Instructor, Part-Time, Dual Enrollment

Vidalia, Swainsboro, Dual Enrollment Campuses

POSITION DESCRIPTION

: Southeastern Technical College is seeking a qualified Part-Time Residential / Commercial Wiring Technician Instructor. Position responsibilities include providing instruction in the inspection, maintenance, installation, and repair of electrical systems in the residential and/or commercial wiring field. A combination of theory and practical application is emphasized to develop academic, technical, and professional knowledge and skills appropriate for entry-level job acquisition.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of three years work experience in a position related to Residential and/or Commercial Wiring.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Hold an in-field / related educational credential such as a technical diploma or degree. Hold in-field certifications or licensures such as a State Electrical License. Have experience teaching in an accredited secondary / post-secondary institution.

SALARY/BENEFITS

Salary is commensurate with education and experience. This is a part-time, temporary position contingent upon semester enrollment. The position does not include benefits nor guarantee future full-time employment.
