Job Description

A nonprofit theatre is looking for paid help with set strikes and backstage work. Duties include carrying scenery and lumber, handling sandbags and lighting equipment, organizing materials, helping disassemble sets, and performing minor maintenance tasks. No theatre or carpentry experience is necessary. Applicants should be dependable, comfortable working on ladders, and capable of safely lifting 50+ pounds. Training and supervision will be provided. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with theatrical set construction, stage lighting, and rigging systems. Work is part-time and scheduled as needed, primarily during regular weekday hours (9 AM-5 PM). College students are welcome.
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
