Job Description

Create Experiences Worth Remembering. Some people watch an event. Others build it. If you've ever looked at a stage, LED wall, lighting rig, sound system, or live production and wondered how it all comes together, keep reading. Whether you're an experienced AV professional or someone eager to learn the industry from the ground up, we'd love to meet you. At Uptown Pro AV, we provide professional audio, video, lighting, and production services for conferences, galas, corporate meetings, nonprofit events, concerts, and live experiences throughout the Upstate. We're looking for dependable people with great attitudes who take pride in doing excellent work. What You'll Do Depending on your experience, you may: Load and unload equipment. Build stages, lighting, audio, and video systems. Install LED walls and projection systems. Operate professional production equipment. Assist with live event execution. Strike events safely and efficiently. Work alongside experienced technicians while learning new skills. No two events are the same. One day you might help build a ballroom for a leadership conference. The next, you could be setting up an outdoor concert or supporting a nonprofit gala. You'll Thrive Here If You… Enjoy solving problems. Like working with your hands. Take pride in quality work. Stay calm under pressure. Are dependable and communicate well. Enjoy working as part of a team. Want to continually learn new skills. Can safely lift 50+ pounds. Have reliable transportation. Can work flexible weekday and occasional weekend schedules. This Probably Isn't the Right Fit If You… Cut corners. Frequently show up late. Need someone constantly telling you what to do. Don't enjoy physical work. Believe "close enough" is acceptable. Why You'll Love Working Here Paid training and mentorship. Opportunities for beginners and experienced technicians alike. Flexible event-based scheduling. Work on conferences, corporate meetings, galas, concerts, festivals, and special events. Professional equipment. A team that values craftsmanship, accountability, and serving others. Opportunities to grow as your skills grow. About Uptown Pro AV We're a locally owned production company serving Greenville and the Upstate of South Carolina. We're serious about delivering exceptional events, but we're equally serious about building a team of people who enjoy working together. We believe technical skills can be taught. Character, professionalism, and a servant's heart are much harder to find. If those qualities describe you, we'd love to hear from you.
