PROMAN Staffing is happy to support our global manufacturing client in sourcing and hiring a Debug Technician to join their team in Memphis, TN. This
DIRECT HIRE
position requires the ability to obtain a passport and travel to Mexico for approximately two months of training before transitioning into the Memphis-based role. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Debug Technician with strong board-level troubleshooting and repair expertise to support advanced server and data center hardware manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced board-level troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair on complex server and data center PCBAs. Analyze failures using schematics, BIOS logs, diagnostic software, and advanced test equipment, including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. Execute component-level repairs and BGA rework while maintaining quality, ESD, and safety standards. Conduct root cause analysis, identify failure trends, and drive corrective actions to improve yield and repair performance. Partner with engineering teams to enhance debug processes, documentation, and troubleshooting methodologies. Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical guidance to less experienced technicians. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience repairing enterprise servers, storage, or networking hardware. Strong understanding of server power architecture, VRM design, DDR memory, PCIe interfaces, and signal integrity. Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and PCB layouts. Experience working with high-value electronic components in a manufacturing or repair environment.
Pay:
From $25.00 per hour
