ZING ZING
is an all-in-one growth platform for small businesses. We help home services SMBs (plumbers, electricians, HVAC techs, cleaners, landscapers and more) get found online, win more jobs, and grow without needing to figure out marketing themselves. We onboard 400+ new businesses every month. Our Digital Specialists are the human face of ZING for every one of those customers. The Role This is a great first role if you want to combine design work with customer relationships. You'll build websites for real small businesses every day, talk to customers, and grow into a trusted advisor who helps them succeed online. You'll own a book of around 50 new customers per month from the moment they sign up. You're their designer, their guide, and the person who makes sure they end up with a website they're proud of and a business that grows with ZING. You'll use ZING's AI website builder to create strong first drafts in a fraction of the time it used to take, which means you get to spend more of your day on the parts of the job that matter most: understanding each customer's business, designing something that fits them, and giving them advice on how to get the most out of ZING. What You'll Do Design and build websites. You'll use ZING's AI website builder, Duda, and your own design eye to create 5-page websites for small business customers. Every site should look great, work on mobile, and reflect the customer's brand. Run customer onboarding calls. New customers book a 30-minute call with you within two days of signing up. You'll review their brief, design with them or for them, and walk them through what's coming next. Be their guide. Most of our customers are tradespeople, not marketers. You'll explain things like why a homepage hero image matters, what SEO is, why their business name should be in their page titles, and how a blog helps them get found on Google. You'll do this in plain English, not jargon. Recommend ZING products that fit their business. Every customer can benefit from more than a website. Landing pages for ads. Blog programs for SEO. Social media management. Booking tools for jobs. You'll learn our full product line and recommend what fits each customer. Get reviews, video testimonials, and referrals. When a customer loves their site, you'll ask them for a 5-star Google review, a short video testimonial, or a referral to another business owner they know. This is built into your day, not a side hustle. Manage your calendar and your customer book. You'll juggle multiple builds, calls, and follow-ups every week. Customers no-show. Edits come in late. You'll stay organized, hit deadlines, and keep every customer moving forward. Who You Are You have an eye for design. You can look at a website and tell what's working and what isn't. You have taste and you're proud of it. You're comfortable with AI tools. You've used ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, or similar tools and you want to get really good at prompting. AI is going to be a big part of your job. You're a strong communicator. You can explain things to non-technical people. You're confident on calls. You can give advice without being pushy and listen without losing the plot. You're organized by nature. You don't need someone to remind you to follow up. You use systems and checklists and you don't drop balls. You like small business owners. The customers we serve are mostly tradespeople running businesses with their own hands. They're not tech people. They need a guide who genuinely cares. You're motivated by both the work and the comp. You'll find satisfaction in launching a great site for a real business. You'll also be hungry for the variable comp, because reviews, referrals, and upsells pay you more AND make customers more successful. You can handle pressure without drama. Customers will be unhappy sometimes. Things will go wrong. You'll stay calm, fix it, and move on. Requirements A degree or qualification in design, graphic design, web design, digital media, or a related design field Comfortable with AI tools and prompting Some exposure to design tools (Canva, Figma, or similar) Strong written and verbal English Available Monday to Friday, in our Denver Tech Center office (this is not a remote role) Reliable, organized, and self-directed
