In this seasonal position, you will be the driving force behind our "Personal Content" (PC) vertical, taking full ownership of the production pipeline—from initial concept and digital sleight-of-hand ideation to final delivery. We produce high-quality, magical content at a rapid cadence, typically releasing one video every 2 to 3 weeks. You'll be working on-site at our Westlake Village studio, collaborating closely with our in-house creative, art, and production leads to bring ambitious, wonder-filled visions to life on a tight schedule.
AT KING STUDIO YOU'LL OVERSEE

Creative Concepting:
Brainstorm and generate original, high-impact video ideas tailored to creator and influencer audiences, pitching fresh concepts that align with the brand's visual style.
Pre-Production:
Ideate and refine creative concepts, develop production schedules, and produce quick mockup videos to align on vision.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Act as the primary liaison between the Production Designer and VFX Supervisor to ensure all technical and aesthetic requirements are met.
Crewing & Logistics:
Source and hire freelance crews for shoot dates and manage all on-set logistics.
Directing :
Take the lead on set, directing talent and crew to execute the creative vision efficiently.
Post-Production Management:
Transition projects into the post-pipeline, maintaining regular check-ins with editors and VFX artists to ensure deadlines are hit.
Administration :
Attend weekly Monday meetings for creative brainstorming and status overviews; manage project budgets and submit timely expense reports.

Experience & Mindset:
Proven track record in producing and directing digital content for the fast-paced creator space. We value scrappiness, drive, and genuine passion for the craft over years of traditional Hollywood experience—whether that comes from film school, internships, or personal projects. You should be a self-starter who takes risks, identifies opportunities, and gets things done efficiently with full team support to help you grow.
Technical Literacy:
Hands-on ability to shoot and edit rough mockup videos to communicate ideas quickly, backed by a solid understanding of VFX and art department workflows. Proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve is preferred.
Leadership:
Strong "boots-on-the-ground" directing skills with the confidence to lead talent, manage in-house teams, and guide external freelance crews on set.
Organization:
Exceptional project management capabilities with a knack for comfortably juggling multiple fast-turnaround projects across different production stages simultaneously.
Availability & Location:
Ability to work on-site at our Westlake Village studio 5 days a week (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
