Producer/Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Associate Professor of Theatre Arts Job Summary We seek a talented individual who is passionate about teaching, invested in student success, and eager to serve as producer for a dynamic theatre and dance program. Principle Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will teach courses based on expertise in any of the following areas: arts administration, acting, directing, musical theatre, dance, and/or theatre design and technology. As Producer, the candidate will collaborate closely with the Production Manager, the Department Chair for Performing Arts, and the faculty of Theatre Arts to ensure the successful planning and execution of the academic theatre and dance season. Responsibilities will include production budgeting and reconciliation, production licensing, liaising with guest artists from contract negotiation through production, casting oversight, and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication and teaching expertise, administrative and leadership experience, excellent organizational ability, creative problem solving in a timely manner, and the ability to work with students, faculty, and staff in a creative, collaborative, and constructive manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

A master's degree is required. Candidates with a terminal degree (MFA or PhD) or experience with producing at the University level or in the field are encouraged to apply.
