Job Description

Job Summary The NOA Title Ownership Specialist position requires processing internal and external requests to modify ownership deeds and other paperwork associated with ownership records. Responsibilities Assess documentation provided in accordance with local real estate, title, legal regulations, and company policies. Perform research and determine if proper documentation has been received to process property transfer or modify of records. Determine accuracy of all new owner information and notify customers to collect missing or incomplete information when required. Work with internal partners to resolve outstanding matters that require procuring documents from municipalities. Respond to internal and external requests for information about title transfer requirements or needs. Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures. Record, store, update, and/or analyze transfer or modification information within internal software programs. Complete monthly tasks from reports generated by Manager to clear aging requests. Prepare and review written documents (e.g., daily logs, business letters, reports), including proofreading and editing written information to maintain accuracy and completeness using Word, Excel or internal software programs. Maintain objectives to identify weekly/monthly priorities to ensure goals are met. Fundamental knowledge and understanding of title issues, and ability to explain to owner or business partners. Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor or management. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information to protect the privacy and security of company, customers, and coworkers by following company and department policies and procedures. Promote and assist others in creating a teamwork environment to achieve common goals and allow co-workers to be treated with tact, dignity, and respect. Education/Experience High school diploma/G.E.D equivalent 1-year related experience required. Experience in title, banking, real estate contracts, or closing is preferred, but not required. Skills & Attributes Adept to learn, multi-task, and retain knowledge of multiple programs in a challenging environment. Excellent written communication skills. Ability to effectively listen and work with coworkers through sharing processes, procedures, and training. Move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 5-10 pounds without assistance. Speak and write using clear professional language, and appropriate business etiquette.
