This is a hands-on, end-to-end video production role. You will be responsible for scripting, screen recording, voiceover, editing, captions, branding, and final delivery. There is no separate editing team, so you should be comfortable owning the complete video creation process. What You Will Create Product tutorial and how-to videos, typically 60 to 180 seconds long Beginner-friendly videos explaining individual software features Use-case videos demonstrating real workflows within the product High-quality screen recordings of the live software interface Product demos with smooth cursor movement, zooms, callouts, and interface highlights Occasional launch videos, promotional content, motion graphics, and B-roll-based videos Videos for the client's YouTube channel, blog, help center, and product pages Your work must consistently match the client's established brand voice, visual identity, pacing, and quality standards. What You Will Do Write clear, concise, and beginner-friendly video scripts Capture the viewer's attention within the first 5 to 10 seconds Record professional screen captures of the live software product Record clear and well-paced English voiceover narration Edit every video from beginning to end Add captions, lower thirds, transitions, music, branding, and intro and outro sequences Create or support the creation of video thumbnails Learn and regularly use the client's product to ensure every video is accurate Update videos when product screens or workflows change Manage projects through a shared content queue Deliver a consistent number of polished videos each week Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to prioritize video topics Required Qualifications A portfolio or reel showing software, product, tutorial, or explainer video work Experience managing the full video production process, including scripting, recording, voiceover, editing, captions, and export Strong video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar software Experience with screen recording tools such as Camtasia, ScreenFlow, OBS, or similar platforms Clear and professional English voiceover delivery Strong attention to detail and visual consistency Ability to understand software products and explain features in simple language Ability to work primarily on-site at our San Ramon office Ability to manage deadlines and maintain a dependable production schedule Preferred Qualifications Previous experience producing videos for SaaS or technology companies Experience creating software walkthroughs and product demonstrations Motion graphics and animation skills Experience optimizing YouTube titles, descriptions, chapters, and thumbnails Familiarity with Descript or similar voiceover and captioning tools Experience working with brand guidelines and reusable video templates Compensation and Employment Structure Compensation and Employment Structure Base salary range of $73,000 to $95,000 per year Most offers are expected to fall between $73,000 and $80,000 Candidates with exceptional portfolios, extensive SaaS video experience, advanced motion graphics skills, or other highly relevant qualifications may be considered for compensation toward the upper end of the range Final compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including experience, skills, portfolio quality, and the expected scope of responsibilities Performance bonus based on quality, reliability, and delivery goals Paid time off Full-time W-2 employment Opportunity to work closely with a well-established SaaS company Strong performers may have an opportunity to transition into a direct full-time role with the client after demonstrating sustained, high-quality performance Hiring Process Portfolio review: We will review your submitted videos and previous work.

Selected candidates will create one real 60 to 90-second product video. Candidates will be paid for completing the test project.
