Video Content Producer - Networking & Cybersecurity Firewalls.com has been fighting the cybercriminal industry for over 20 years, defending small and medium-sized businesses and enterprises worldwide. Our Professional Services department is looking for a creative and technically knowledgeable Video Content Producer to help drive the Firewalls.com brand and YouTube channel. This is a unique hybrid role combining professional video production, content creation, and hands-on networking knowledge. The ideal candidate will be comfortable both behind the camera and around the technology being featured. We're looking for someone who can operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment; edit and produce polished video content; and understand the networking and cybersecurity concepts being demonstrated and discussed. You don't need to be a network engineer, but you should be comfortable with technologies and concepts such as firewalls, IP addressing, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, wireless networking, and network security. Duties & Responsibilities Film and produce content for the Firewalls.com YouTube channel and other digital platforms. Produce technical demonstrations, product walkthroughs, educational videos, interviews, comparisons, and promotional content. Work directly with cybersecurity engineers and other subject-matter experts to develop technically accurate and engaging content. Understand the networking concepts being demonstrated well enough to anticipate what should be captured and highlighted for the audience. Set up and operate cameras, lighting, microphones, and other production equipment. Edit video and audio into polished, professional finished content. Help translate complex networking and cybersecurity topics into content that IT professionals, business owners, and customers can understand. Assist with planning scripts, demonstrations, shot lists, and overall video concepts. Maintain consistent production, branding, audio, lighting, and visual standards. Organize and maintain video footage, project assets, and production equipment. Help identify new technical topics, products, and video formats that can grow the Firewalls.com YouTube audience. Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment alongside Professional Services engineers, Marketing, Sales, and our cybersecurity vendor partners. Skillset Requirements Hands-on experience with video production, videography, editing, or digital content creation. Strong video-editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or comparable professional software. Experience operating professional, DSLR, or mirrorless video cameras. Working knowledge of lighting, composition, audio recording, microphones, and studio production. Working knowledge of computer networking and network infrastructure.•Familiarity with concepts including: TCP/IP and IP addressing DHCP and DNS Routing and switching VLANs and network segmentation Firewalls and network security Site-to-site and remote-access VPNs Wireless networking Basic network troubleshooting Ability to communicate effectively with network engineers and other technical subject-matter experts. Strong attention to detail and commitment to technical accuracy. Ability to independently take a video project from concept through completion. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. A portfolio, demo reel, or examples of previous video-production work. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in IT, networking, cybersecurity, or technical support. Networking certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or equivalent knowledge/experience. Familiarity with firewall and cybersecurity platforms from manufacturers such as SonicWall, Fortinet, Sophos, and WatchGuard. Experience producing technical or educational YouTube content. Experience with motion graphics, animation, Adobe After Effects, or similar tools. Understanding of YouTube analytics, audience retention, SEO, thumbnails, and content optimization.
