Job Description
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS & TRAINING
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Position requires that you work in person thirty (30) hours per week. Must submit "Demo Reel"IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING
: Associates degree in communication arts, speech, television and radio, film, media arts, audio/video production, or a related field; AND, one (1) year of professional experience in directing, producing, filming audio/video material for media production and release; AND, must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Equivalent education, training, and experience may be considered.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS INLCUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
: Sets up and films media events, City Council and board meetings, City educational programs and other production for broadcast on the City's television station and internet. Sequences and edits production work for broadcast. Keeps calendar of events and programs to be filmed. Keeps abreast of the latest trends and advances in media technology. Maintains and catalogs digital files and show masters. Maintains records and prepares reports and correspondence related to work.
