Job Description

Seeking an experienced documentary videographer for a one-day shoot in Clallam County, Washington. The project involves filming a sit-down interview and is approximately 4 hours on location. We're hoping to shoot sometime in the week of April 6th to the 10th. This project is for a non-profit network with about $550 budgeted for the one-day shoot. We're open to adjusting that, especially if travel needs to factor in. What we're looking for:
  • Strong documentary interview shooting experience
  • High-quality audio recording (lav and/or boom)
  • Ability to light flexibly in an interior or potentially outdoor environment
  • Comfortable working independently on location while the interviewer participates/directs remotely
  • Able to bring and position a tablet or laptop so the subject can maintain natural eye contact with the remote interviewer
  • Multi-camera setup preferred, but not required (two cameras ideal) We're looking for someone low-key, professional, and experienced working with subjects in sensitive settings.
This shoot is part of an independent documentary produced for a nonprofit community media organization.
