Job Description
ABOUT THE JOB
As a member of our team, you will work with individuals who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities to help them live independent, productive and integrated lives. As a Supervisor you will work with Service Coordinators to ensure health and safety, OAR compliance, and support the overall team and mission. Come help us make a difference in the lives of those we serve.WORK SCHEDULE
Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, or a related social science field; AND three (3) years of administrative, clinical, and operational support experience, including managerial experience; OR any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the job.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of the public service system for developmental disability services in Oregon to include specifications, contract language, and their interpretation. An understanding of the problems affecting clients and case management techniques that are appropriate for working with them; as well as modern developmental disability practices, principles and philosophies.OTHER NECESSARY REQUIREMENTS
Possession of or ability to obtain and maintain a valid Oregon driver's license within 30 days of hire. Incumbents may be required to obtain specific technical certifications. Polk County, theOrganization:

Polk County is located in the Willamette Valley just an hour from the Pacific Coast to the west and an hour from Portland to the north. The population is approximately 87,000 and the county spans about 744 square miles, with two thirds of the western part of the county being forest. National protected areas include the Baskett Slough National Wildlife Refuge and Siuslaw National Forest. The County is part of the agricultural richness the Willamette Valley has to offer.
